1. Complete and return all required actions in INFAStart

As a new employee, you must enroll in health benefits within 31 days of your date of hire. If you do not complete your enrollment within your first 31 days, you will automatically be waived out of coverage. If you do not enroll, you won’t have coverage. Your next opportunity to enroll in benefits will be during our Annual Open Enrollment, held each year in the fall, unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as a birth or marriage.

Who’s eligible?

All active regular full-time or part-time employees who are scheduled to work at least 24 hours per week are eligible to participate in Informatica’s benefits program. You may also cover your eligible dependents under Informatica’s medical, prescription, dental, vision, and life benefits.

Your eligible dependents include:

  • Spouse or domestic partner (same or opposite gender). For more information, see the Domestic Partner Guide.
  • Your child(ren) and your covered spouse’s or domestic partner’s child(ren) up to age 26
  • Disabled children who became disabled on or before age 26

3. Enroll in health and other insurance benefits within 31 days of hire

After reviewing your benefit options and utilizing the ALEX tool, please go to Workday to complete your benefits enrollment.

You will need to complete your enrollment for GoNavia Commuter Benefits, MetLife Auto & Home Insurance, MetLife Pet Insurance, Travel Assistance and Insurance Program, and Fidelity 401(k) Plan directly with the vendor.

  • Be sure to provide the necessary dependent information to enroll eligible family members.
  • Make sure you’ve provided beneficiary information for your life insurance and your 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan.

4. Save for the future

You can invest for retirement with easy payroll deductions through the 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan.

You are immediately eligible upon date of hire. As a new hire you are automatically enrolled in the 401(k) Plan within your first 30 days at a contribution rate of 5% of your eligible compensation. You can adjust your contribution rate, investment elections, or opt out at any time by calling (800) 835-5097 or visiting Fidelity NetBenefits. Elections cannot be entered in Workday.

Please note: Interns are not eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
